Except for the monk, nothing else really excites me about May. I was hoping for a Psionic playtest or some Divine oriented articles.

Celestian Order might be Divine so we shall see.

Also disappointed that Class Acts has seemed to disappear along with the Deity articles.

What do you mean the diety articles have disapeared? It is a recurring feature....like Domains of Dread. There will be several months before the next installment. That doesn't mean that it is gone for good though.

I was hoping they would have one maybe every other month. I am sure another will come out eventually.

The thing that caught my eye was the MM3 playtest a week after the release of MM2. While I can understand and appreciate that they only have a year ( ) until it is released, I think that WotC should let people test the waters with the MM2 for a bit before springing MM3 info out there.

That being said, I wonder what it could be. At first glance, I guess it could be a creature or set of creatures, but that does not seem like something that would need to be released at this time in order to make the cut for MM3. I think it is some monster that uses some new mechanics/powers/something unique, as that seems to be the nature of these playtests.

Either way, I hope it will be fun!

Indeed, though the excepts claim to be for the campaign guide. This seems inconsistent with most online retailers listing that the player's guide is what's coming out first.

I'm hoping for a new type of monster, like Elite, Solo, Minion. Maybe UBER-SUPER-MEGA-AWESOME-BOSS of death!

This would be a good thing though...I've been running 4e Eberron (or at least trying to...it's my all-time favorite setting) for a while now....it'll be a great thing that I can begin injecting some Eberron fluff into it, get my player's really excited.

All in all, from the middle of the month or so on, this is the most exciting month in terms of content for me. Monk playtest, Eberron, some of the usuals...it might just give me a reason to keep up the awesomeness at my job to make sure I can afford all this awesome coming my way!

(BTW, word of advice for everyone out there....never spend more money on D&D product then your fiance and tell her about it...I'll never hear the end of it from her lol)

Nope don't listen to them - listened to the first one and wasn't really into it.

I wish they had a kalashtar race preview this month.

Did anyone notice Celestian Order on the 4th?

Could Greyhawk actually be the next world released in 2010?

Over all I'm looking forward to this month's articles, the Celestian Order is tempting as a clue for the next CS, but I'll wait and see what is in Ampersand first.
For the Eberron fans we have not only excerpts from the CG, but an Expeditionary Dispatches article.
FR is also represented with Gontal, a Returned Abeir locale.
A Domains of Dread and something labeled Monsters: The Restless Shore. This may or may not have anything to do with the MM3 playtest, which may have something to do with one or more of the new power sources.

I don't think it's another podcast, I think it's exactly what the title says: a Penny Arcade Adventure - an epic quest to defeat the Fruit****er 2000. :P

Failing that, the dungeon they play in the podcast, perhaps... ;)
