#1 gold_piece Apr 24, 2010 10:32:05	Has anyone played this game yet?  Or even seen it in a store?  I never owned the original game that came out in 2005, so I thought I'd try it, but my FLGS said they haven't received any copies yet.  Please post a quick review if you've played it.

#3 Caneton1 Apr 25, 2010 14:44:30	I just bought a copy of Emporer's Gambit last night and I've been playing the original TDA for over a year now. The new TDA:EG is almost exactly like the old game, but they've updated a few of the clunky rules.  Otherwise the game is just as much fun as its predecessor.  There are new dragons, new Powers that make the game fresh and fun again, and they've added rules so that your 4e characters can make use of their Trained skills to enhance the game as well.  I just played with a couple of friends last night, but I can't wait to find a way to incorporate this into an RP of mine. What's also cool is that you can combine this deck with the original and make a new 70 card deck that uses your favorite parts of both.  They even give some examples of decks to help get you started.  We haven't done this yet, but it seems like fun. Last of all, they've included the new 4e mythos into the game so you can easily adapt it to your RP. All-in-all, I think it was worth it and we had a blast last night laughing, backstabbing, stealing, and trying our hardest to screw each other over and win.  If you can find it, I recommend you buy it!!!
