I'd really like to see a Player's Option book for Psionics sooner rather than later.

they have already said there not doing Psionics in to 5th ed. not that may change down the road but for now there wont be any

Eventually, I hope. Psionics has always been a part of D&D (since AD&D at least). Is it everyone's favorite part? No. The majority of D&D players and DMs through the decades probably don't utilize it much, if you do a statistical study. But the fact is that it is still part of the core D&D experience, so "leaving it out" of 5th Edition is simply bad form. I understand that WOTC has a skeleton crew these days (blame Hasbro), and that their budget is probably tight. So Psionics core book is not a priority for them. But eventually, maybe next year, it should be something that they will evenually release.

I think you'll get your wish. In the Drizzit novels, the drow are playing with psyonics. We'll have to wait to see where that goes, but it does make me think that it's coming.
