Has there been a time estimate on when the character creator will go out of beta?

With any luck they'll have it on the site sometime late tonight so I can get it on my laptop before I go to work in the morning.

What'll be out tomorrow? An updated Beta or the fullblown character creator, going all the way to level 30 with all of the races, classes, feats, and other options currently available? And does anyone have a link to who said what about where?

Well according to mudbunny in the D&Di General forum, it might be live now. I haven't actually checked though.

Eh, I got plenty left. Being a veteran really helps.

The improvements I've noticed so far (particularly with the character sheet) are extremely impressive. But...why only 3 levels still?

They recommend uninstalling the beta before installing the full version. Maybe that's what's causing you to only see the 3 levels.

I'm afraid that's not doing it.

You need to be a paid subscriber and install the updates before you get more than three levels.

It's working now. I don't know why I couldn't update last night. Thanks, all!

I only still see the beta available. Have they taken the non-beta off-line? I am a subscriber....

Never mind .... Getting it now!

Anyone know when they'll be adding this months Dragon material to the Character Builder? Specifically the Warden, Sorcerer, Legacy of Acererak Feats, and the Dhampyr Feats.

Dragon and Dungeon content gets added the update after the issue compilations. So this month's content from Dragon and Dungeon will be out in the update on the third or fourth Tuesday of Febuary (can't recall if its 3rd or 4th Tuesday they do the DDI updates).

Damn. Gotta wait three weeks minimum? That sucks. Ah well. Guess I'm gonna have to rely on WordPerfect for those characters a while longer.

My group has a tendency to use an increased point buy, anyone know if there's a way to increase the points available for this?

Not in the creation proccess. You'd have to just manually edit the attribute scores on the character sheet which would also flag the character as 'houseruled'.

Ah, seemed to be last time I tried it, during the Beta, they didn't allow manually editing the Attribute bonuses above their point buy. I'm just fine with having it throw up the Houseruled flag.

Edit: Well, I thought I was, I wish it would just accept that it's going to be houseruled and let me go on to other steps. I know I can do that all manually, but it'd be nice to just use the Next Step Button.
