We learned that Heroes of the Feywild will contain an EBard, another EDruid, and an EBarbarian that will be a Defender while calm but a Striker while raging.
They announced that there will be no new races or classes after Heroes of the Feywild.
We learned they were coming out with a new skirmish game, as well as non-randomized miniature packs.
I think those were the highlights.

Dispite the =P, I'm actually serious. I've played Pixies, and had Pixie characters in my champaigns for at least 20 years. They are one of my favorites.
The Satyr and Dryad are nice suprises. I'm looking forward to seeing them too.

When they say no new classes after HotFW, that doesn't mean no new sub-classes, since we already know we're getting an eSorcerer in HotPB.

I'm only reprinting what I've heard, I made no attempt to analyze it. Their use of the word "class" has not been at all consistent, so the statement could literally mean just about anything.

maybe they intend to wrap up the edition in the next year or 2, i hope not but its clear that they are moving their focus now to subclassing PHB2, since they have gotten a subclass out of every class in PHB1 exept the warlord (which was renamed still for some odd reason)
im not against subclassing (or essentializing, as the term goes) i embrace it.
now we are seeing bard, barbarian, druid (again) and sorcerer for sure has there been any word on the warden, invoker, avenger or shaman?
it seems if this is their plan that they would after the elemental book to add subclasses for the rest of 4e, this isnt a bad plan to me, i would love to have all classes have sevreal varaitions.

I don't recall them saying that at all. IIRC, what they actually said was more along the lines of: "Until we can come up with a compelling concept for a class that works better as a martial controller than as anything else, we're not going to shoehorn something into that role just to fill a perceived 'gap' in a grid." They always left open the possibility that they might eventually release a martial controller class if they could think of something that would fit.
Anyway, everyone knows that "Read my lips" means "I am about to lie to you". ;)
And, really, when 'WotC says' something, it's usually some WotC employee, talking off the cuff, not a press release, let alone sworn testimony or anything. ;)

I also don't think it would be impossible to do up an eWarlord, and keep it in the Martial basic-attack ghetto. It could even handle the hp-management aspects of the leader role by triggering second winds as a minor instead of a standard, and giving out temporary hps instead of 'magically healing' anyone. It would be an inferior leader, but that's rather the point.
Not that I think that would be anything less than deplorable, just that it's possible.

I've never been into the FR setting - is one of the 4 Diety-Domains in Neverwinter that of a War-God, perhaps?
Has it been confirmed that we are going to see an e-sorcerer in the elemental chaos book?
All our info on this comes from Rich Baker's blog, which calls it "an interesting new take for a sorcerer" with no other info. It might be an eSorcerer, it might be a build or new powers for the oSorcerer, or it might be a wizard subclass for all we know. It might even be a theme, or a collection of rules for using wizard powers.
It could be anything at this point.
I doubt very much, after seeing the Bladesinger kit build in Neverwinter, that we will ever see a new class in 4th edition. The Vampire, sad as it is, will be the last.
I'm just hoping we eventually see a book release WITHOUT more support for the Arcanist, Bladesinger and Mage.
Because seriously, those classes are done. there is nothing more that needs to be added to them.
"Undermountain"..I was so so SO damn mad at them killing off Halaste rin such a damn cheesy way, Deus Ex Machina Crappola, in 3rd ed, grrr! What a wasted opportunity, they should have released a more "campaign setting" style book rather than what they did.
Original Undermountain, just like the original Forgotten Realms (grey) boxed set, was pure 100% freakin' genuis!
Either recover some of that glory or let Halaster slumber in his unquiet grave, please.
