| #1ausolionApr 03, 2009 0:16:47 | Shifters seem so incomplete without claw weapons. There should at least be a feat. Like for the gnolls. Why must shifters suffer? Come on....Razorclaw? Longtooth? At the very least they should have the longtooth be able to do bite attacks while shifting and razorclaws use claw attacks while shifting. The natural attacks should be worth taking over your current weapons. I don't know, something. |

Shifter's are pretty lame at the moment, but I hold onto the fact that their more notable within Eberron then most settings, so they should see some upgrades when it comes out. Keep your fingers crossed. |

There may be a feat similar to the Gnoll claw fighter one from their Dragon Magazine article (or you could probably just adapt it), but it becomes utterly useless around 6th level. Consider as well the rules clusterfrell that revolved around using manufactured weaponry and natural weaponry at the same time in 3rd Edition, and I'm really quite good with them being gone, and shifters are my second favorite race. |
| #8the_badger_02Apr 03, 2009 20:52:45 | For something that seems a little more useful for a Shifter in the modern times of Fourth Edition, I suggest potentially a feat that allows them to do some follow up damage a la Swift Bite from the Gnoll article. This way their claws/fangs don't suffer from their lack of enhancement but you can still get that feeling like you've gotten some use out of them. |
