Will we see more Elemental Dragons?

We already have the Chromatics and the Metallics, Catastrophics (which seem cool) are on the way, then their is still planar and scourge.  From one source the elementals were not added upon in the upcoming Draconomicon2, which leads to me starting this forum.

As much as I would appreciate a book on this (and I hope I'm not alone), maybe a Dungeon article could be made of the various types, expanding on the current ones.  I suppose as they reside in the Elemental Chaos there is a shot they could be in the Elemental Chaos book.

Thoughts? Suggestions? Website with homebrew elemental dragons?

I love dragons and I love elementals.  Sadly I do not have the time or expertise to homebrew D&D monsters except as my campaigns necessitate (and the PCs are level 1 so I'm thinking dragons of any variety need to wait a bit).  Count me in on the cheerleading squad for this one, though.

Aren't Catastrophics effectively elemental dragons? They are even tied to the elemental chaos.

Possibly, I don't feel there is enough material about Catastrophicand Elemental being within the same family.  The main desire are elemental dragons that are like the Tempest, Pyroclastic and Blazewyrm, dragons made from the very elements they represent.  Also, the Dragon Eel is classified as an elemental dragon and Eel's while sometimes creepy they are definitely not catastrophic.

Elemental dragons are just a type of planar dragons. They won't be getting a book to themselves. An article? Maybe. Honestly I'm betting on planar dragons not getting a Draconomicon to themselves based on what we saw in Draconomicon I. Will we see more of them? Maybe, but I personally wouldn't count on seeing them any time soon if they aren't in Draconomicon II.

Considering that Catastrophics will be the focus of Draconomicon3, I would assume the most numerous type of Planar Dragons in that book would be Elemental Dragons.
