3/22 Adventure Tools Release

Mar 22, 2011 13:48:17		Today , Wizards of the Coast launched the brand new D&D Monster Builder as part of the new web-based Adventure Tools suite for D&D Insider. Here are some of the highlights:


  • Completely redesigned, the new Monster Builder debuts with 3,700 monsters, including Dark Sun Creature Catalog and Monster Vault entries

  • The new Monster Builder features art along with many of the monsters (check out the chromatic dragons for an example)

  • You can easily import monsters created with the MB classic into the new web-based MB

  • The web-based MB is Mac and PC Compatible, requiring an internet connection and Silverlight plug-in


For those familiar with the Monster Builder classic, you'll definitely notice that the web-based Monster Builder is not as robust when it comes to features. Over the next few months we will be adding features and content until we meet, and in some ways surpass, what the classic Monster Builder offered. I'll bring you more information as I get it.
