ok so in todays...wait (((looks at time...sigh)))In yesterdays articule for the monster builder we saw the main screen of the adventure tools. In it the monster builder took up one of 5 slots.

then it goes on to say:
Eventually, other releases will follow for Adventure Tools, such as Encounter Builder and Map Builder. In addition to new builders, we'll also continue adding content, enhancements, and new features to D&D Monster Builder, in the same vein as the D&D Character Builder and D&D Compendium.

I am sure that the Character Builder will shift into this suite of tools to keep everything in its place and also to minimize the updating... centrally located confusion elimination... just my 2 cents.

Since we are in dreaming mode of what it might be I would assume:

Character Builder gets a slot
Library Tool

My idea on the Library Tool is it would give you access to:
- All Dungeon Content
- All Dragon Content
- All purchased Digital Downloads

Maybe this could be part of the solutioning. Or we could go with the player driven dream:

- Character Builder gets a slot.
- Game Table gets a slot <-- The True Fantasy

While a library tool sounds great, it also sounds like a repeat of the Compendium. I wouldn't want them to spend time remaking a tool that already works fine online into a desktop feature.

From what I understand its

4. Cofeemaker

5. Self Destruct Button.

hth.

P.S. When the full set of tools comes out, do try not to get 4 confused with 5.

Is the monster builder suppose to handle traps and hazards as well? If not one of the could be a trap/hazard builder.

Perhaps an adventure builder as well where you can string a few encounters together to get your full adventure.
