| #1balesirNov 12, 2008 8:52:39 | The CB has a flagging system for "WotC Legal" characters, and "Homebrew" characters. I am assuming, though, that using FR 'homelands' in a Dark Sun, Eberron or whatever 'official' settings eventually come is problematic, not to mention that I may well want to decide that powers, feats, backgrounds etc. are legal or not for my home game on a one-by-one basis... I suggest, therefore, a way to set up "Campaign" flags. Some of these will be permanent ("official", including RPGA ones?) while others should be user defined (under "house rules"). Each race, class, power, feat and so on could then be flagged legal (or not) for each 'Campaign'. The default would be to flag all WotC core stuff as legal for a new flag - a GM creating a new Campaign would then have to go through and flag/unflag the 'oddities' that they wanted to include/exclude. |
