| #1kyanionNov 03, 2010 2:35:40 | I do not understand this at all. We got a small update a couple of months ago that added in the magic rarity system and a few touches from I believe Psionic Power. Was Dark Sun THAT hard to add into the builder? Take Essentials out of the mix for a moment. Why can we not have this added to the CB like we've all be waiting for. This new Character Builder is going to be a LOAD of help when I go to my convention on the 12th. I can't wait to use my Dark Sun shaman that is FINALLY legal in LFR. Only down side? I have to hand write everything and I have no resources to use on the fly in the CB other than shuffling pages in my book and slowing everything down. I paid for the Essentials book and while it is a thick book it is small and thus harder to use/read and even flip to find pages to leave open on the table. I'd MUCH rather have a CB with that info as well that I could use on my netbook without having to go online. I do not wish to go online on unsecure networks nor deal with the hassle of potential server issues or internet problems. How about you give us Dark Sun in the CB and the racial support that should have been added so we can create characters that are not 'House Ruled' and can actually use Dark Sun stuff. I'm sorry. I'm not paying a monthly fee for a 'shiny' character builder that can be a pain to use. |

| #4kyanionNov 03, 2010 2:53:20 | Sadly it will not work. I already shelled out the money for the DS book and the first Essentials book. I had been waiting to subscribe again when those things were finally added. I do not like the sound of this new CB at all. |

You can fork out for a subscription once every 6 months or when something grabs your attention. And when the inevitable bugs turn up Hero Lab is actually configurable enough to fix most of the problems. Cheers, Ash |
