"Up to Date" not accurate.

Jul 12, 2009 12:06:54 Why does it say "Up to Date" when you can't connect to the net?
Can't it say "Not connected"
That way instead of having to read the fine print I know instantly if I need to connect to the Net and download a new patch.
It shouldn't say "Up to Date" if it doesn't know if it is or not.

Jul 12, 2009 22:29:22 If you are not connected to the net all the time, the program attempts to make the check, can't complete it, so 'assumes' that the last state is valid, then allows you to start the builder.

If you want it to know for sure if it is up to date, you need to be connected when you start.

Checking some of my other suggestion posts and getting no reply, I was getting frustrated. I was just thinking as I clicked "Why bother trying to help?"
Thanks for posting. You continue to improve the product and I'll continue to "help".
And in case there was any doubt, I'm a 4e fanboi supporter. I think the Character Builder is the best piece of software for D&D ever (Well, tied with Baldur's Gate). And I thank you for working so hard and taking so much criticism.

Jul 14, 2009 15:42:12 Baldur's Gate was excellent. I just mistyped it as Baldur's Great which amused me.

I read everything on this forum even if I don't reply btw. I have been pretty busy with Adventure Tools recently as it will be our next awesome tool.

Well as you know the adventure tools are out now and Monster Builder is working well. The date for more tools hasn't been announced yet.
