Jun 30, 2011 19:58:57 After being part of D&Di for a while I have been surised by one fact... There is no mobile version of it. With all of the leaps and bounds Wizards has done, you would think that there would be something in the works, but I haven't even heard mention one about something like it. Think about it. your at a comunity day even and they don't have wifi but you have good signal. wouldn't it be awesome to be able to creat/edit a character, or check the compendium for a specific rule right there at the table. If nothing else it may be a DM's wet dream to have everything right there at his finger-tips. Just want to see what people would think about it.

There is a mobile site version of the compendium, although it's a toss-up as to whether it will work with your particular device. I know it wasn't working for iPhones & iPads this past weekend, but the 6/28 interim may have fixed the issue.

As for the other tools? They need to get their house in order on the desktop before considering mobile devices. In the mean time, there's things like iPlay4e which provides an excellent character sheet interface on mobile devices.

Works great on my WinMobile6.5 phone running Opera. I'd be shocked if an iPhone can't handle it.

Jul 07, 2011 13:24:45 If you have an android device, Sylloge app is a good compendium viewer and Ksheet works for downloading and viewing your character sheets. Nothing I know of yet to create/edit characters though. :-(
