The cost to raise ability isnt the same in the character creator and the player handbook? So who is wrong the character creator or the handbook.

Maybe just a little more detail on your part may be helpful. In order to help us formulate an intelligent answer you need to first formulate an intelligent question. Sorry if this sounds harsh or offends you in any way but your post is in no way constructive or helpful to the community at large. If you have a specific example or question please take a moment to write out your thoughts in a fair amount of detail.

Just double checked. The cost to raise scores is exactly the same as in the PHB. Remember - the racial ability score bonus is added in after you use the 22 points to buy them up. This could lead to the point buys looking different if not handled that way. Here is an example...

A dwarf cleric wants a starting wisdom of 18. He will buy up to a 16, which costs 9 of those points. Then his dwarven +2 to wisdom kicks in for an 18 total.

A tiefling cleric wants a starting wisdom of 18. Since tieflings have no wisdom bonus, he will buy up to 18 as a cost of 16 points (ouch!).

Sorry about the formulation of my question, but my english is a little bad. Anyway i have created a human rogue with these stats

16 str
10 con
16 dex +2 human racial = 18
10 int
10 wis
12 cha

It cost me 22 point on the character builder, but when i do the same on paper (myself) i am left with 2 point??? so i dont understand why.

16 str (cost = 9)
10 con (cost = 0*)
16 dex +2 human racial = 18 (cost = 9)
10 int (cost = 0*)
10 wis (cost = 0*)
12 cha (cost = 2)

What you posted is a 22 point build.

The * in here refers to one of these attributes costing 2 points. The reason for this is the the starting point spread is 8-10-10-10-10-10. I'm betting you started with a spread of all 10s in your attributes. If you use an all 10s starting point, you will have 20 points left over, as 2 have already been spent to up the one starting 8 to a 10.

Yeah i think that may be what i did. But i though human racial ability started all at 10? My question is... are all race ability starting with at least one ability at 8 and the rest at 10?

The beginning stats are the same for all races. You simply spend your points, starting with a 10/10/10/10/10/8 spread, and apply the racial bonuses after that.
