Access to Large-sized weapons

Jun 30, 2011 17:43:46 I'm tinkering with a Bugbear right now, and Bugbears are supposed to be able to use Large weapons, but I can't find Large weapons in the online CB. Have they just not been implemented yet or am I completely missing them? iirc, the only difference is that they go 1 die higher than a "normal" sized weapon, but regardless, if I'm paying for the online CB, I kind of expect it to grant me access to what my character can use.

(Now watch, it'll turn out I'm just missing something completely obvious)

Any help would be appreciated.

Jun 30, 2011 19:44:49 I just made a Bugbear, and every weapon has (Large) after it without me having to do anything.

Jun 30, 2011 20:41:04 Well, this is odd. When searching for "Large" in the weapons category, they are showing up...but they're red which means I'm not proficient with them. Are they red for your Bugbear too?

Jun 30, 2011 22:04:17 I see where the problem is now. When I go to Inventory & use the Find Equipment tab, Large weapons come up in red. If I use the Marketplace button along the bottom, then they all come up as usable.

So there's the problem WotC...now fix it!

[edit] And as soon as I add them from the Marketplace to my Inventory, they go red again.

[edit part 2] But being red doesn't seem to stop me from equipping Large weapons & gaining my proficiency bonus.

No, they were black. I have no idea what's going on.
