| #1carthrodanSep 06, 2010 9:00:34 | html_removed Hey, guys, This is CorrinAvatan on the forums. It seems that my account was hacked this morning. Thankfully, so far, the only damage is that they've changed my picture on my profile. I got three emails this morning talking about the fact that someone requested a change to my email address, and I was wondering if anybody else had this happen to them, or if it is just a random occurrence (It's possible I might know who it is if there isn't a group of people whose accounts were hacked). I already contacted Wizards to report the hack. But I was trying to see if it was just me, or if Wizards themselves got hacked. And, also, until you see an update from this account, please disregard anything the Carthrodan account states. Also to be clear: I didn't open any emails from wizards of the coast, like the big sticky up top is talking about. Carthrodan. |

| #3carthrodanSep 06, 2010 10:18:12 | Problem is, I changed the password when my last group broke up. |
| #4asmodeusloreSep 06, 2010 12:31:49 | Its generally a good idea to not share usernames and passwords with others. In some cases, it might even be against your user license agreement. |
| #5CorrinAvatanSep 06, 2010 17:21:37 | I understand that, Asmodeus. That's why, as a rule, I always changed my password IMMEDIATELY after my last group of players went their separate ways. I have control of my wizards.com account again (this one), but I can't get into my DDI account. Still nothing from Wizards. edit: can someone please tell me what I have to do to change my account picture? I thought it would reflect my profile picture, but I don't seem to be able to remember how to change my forum avatar. |
