Instead of having a card that just says Action Point, isn't it better to have the old style action point card that actually explains what an action point does? I mean, if you feel you need the card, why not have it explain the rule on it? Am I the only one that thinks the pretty looking new action point card is kind of, well, pointless? Personally, I keep my AP card from the beta in my stack instead of the new one. |

IN my group, we use the action point card to keep our action points on, as a reference. We use poker chips for action points, and for the warlord's inspiring word power, using two different color chips. With the AP card, we just pile the APs on the card...it's easy to keep track of 'em that way. On a related note, it would be nice if the AP explained what its uses are. Especially in paragon tier, when AP use changes based on your paragon path. TBP |

For hp, and other things that change a lot, my wife made me a three ring binder minus the rings and with a PHB inserted. I slip my character sheet under the clear plastic cover in front and write on it with dry erase markers - works great. Also room to hold extra papers in there.I just find it kind of silly that they did away with the old card from the beta that had the rules listed out for you. Sure, the new one looks nice, but maybe we could get an option to have it display either way. |
