| #1TheMadmanX3Dec 12, 2011 12:19:34 | So for a while I wasn't able to edit my billing address. When I contacted Wizards via their help system they told me that I should let that subscription lapse and start a new one and use the new/proper billing address. So I cancelled the auto-renew on my old subscription and resubscribed with a new subscription. That seemed to work just fine and for about 6 days I had access. Until this morning when I got an e-mail about my recent subscription cancelation. I thought "oh, ok that's my old subscription" but, when I logged on to see what was new this morning, noticed that I can no longer access any Insider content at all. I double checked my subscription status: still active. I double checked my credit card transactions, yep all payed for. I cleared my browser cache, no dice. I've contacted support via e-mail (can't use phone since I'm at work) but with a 2-day turn around on the last incident I expcet I'll end cancelling my game tomorrow night (since all those custom monsters are no longer accessible). I'm also somewhat distressed by the quality of the account maintainence system. Nothing I can really put my finger on but, several years in, the whole backend still feels a bit slapdash. Slightly disgruntled, and more than a little sad they I probably won't get to DM tomorrow night (haven't mentioned that possibility to players yet). EDIT: It also appears I'm missing the DDI icon on the forums as well, at least as of posting this. |
