Added Panels impossible to delete -- reappear when the character is reloaded

Mar 29, 2009 10:15:16 So in the (vain) attempt to correct a plethora of problems in my monthly-billed incorrect character sheet (detailed in a plethora of other threads), I have added extra pages with extra panels for further customization.

Although I was initially thrilled with this feature, I am now tearing out my hair. I cannot get rid of them.

I finally decided: Hell with it, if my character sheet is going to wrong no matter what, it can at least be pretty, and have tried to revert back to default layouts repeatedly. I have also manually deleted the extra panels and selected "remove empty pages" to delete the extra pages.

I have saved these changes both in the character sheet itself (using "save as") AND in the character builder application by saving the character.

No matter what, whenever I reload this character, my extra pages and extra panels still appear.

HELP.

Mar 29, 2009 10:57:05 I have had similar-sounding issues with the journal entries imported from characters made with the previous version prior to this most recent patch...

While you can open the saved character file in a text editor and try to puzzle out which bits of them relate to your character sheet layout and delete them manually, for now the easiest option will be to just remake the character from scratch... trust me, for now its the only thing that will save you any further hair-pulling.

Also, under Layout, there is a "Remove Empty Pages" that will... remove any empty pages.
