Is there a tab or some easy way to add money my character acquires, or do we just do the math and adjust for ourselves? Also, is there a place to put gems and other non-coinage treasure?

I take it you've found the money tab. As far as tracking wealth is concerned, that's all we get for now. And unfortunately you have to do the math in your head. Sure would be nice if WotC would add a pop-up add gold window in a future update.

Sadly, no non-cash valuables either. The peculiar thing is that the reagents listed in Adventuring Goods (residuum, mystic salves, etc.) print out under the "Wealth" tab on the character sheet even though they're technically not currency, and yet there's no way to add your own entries under there. Seems like yet another item for a future update.

[Side note: I remeber the old PCGen had a nifty section of gems in its item list. Perhaps someone at WotC could add a new section and reference the DM Guide's page on treasure for other non-coin wealth.]

Yes we still do, plus we have the cabability of taking a gem (or artwork, non-cash item, etc) and manually change what that particular gem in the character's inventory is worth.
