I hope this is the proper forum for this, so let's hope for the best. I'm having a problem accessing creatures I created using the monster builder tool. I tossed them into the holding pen, thinking that would be a way to get a "rack" of monsters that I could then access, print, and use in an upcoming adventure. The problem is I can't figure out how to pull them back out. I click like a madman, but I can't seem to do anything with them, save frustrated stares and hoping they decide to print themselves. I could have just wasted a couple hours and thought the holding pen was accessible when it isn't, and I really hope that isn't the case... massive facepalm imminent.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

They should be in the left hand pane, you may have to search for them.

In the filtering options at the bottom of the left-hand window, there should be a drop-down menu where you can choose to filter by custom monsters. I believe that will get you all monsters that you have created or modified.

Hmm... that doesn't seem to work unless I save the creature before sending them to the holding pen. I guess I just screwed up thinking I could access them whenever I like. Thanks for the replies, none the less.

If you choose to make a new monster, and then drag the monster from the holding pen to the center pane, does that work?

Either way, I would report it as a bug.

Yeah, dragging was the first thing I tried. I'll issue a bug report when I get back from "work."

What about, as opposed to dragging the monster, just dragging the indiviual powers over, and then re-typing the other stuff??

It's as if once I send something to the holding pen, it's just stuck there. Powers, the name/stat block, and the alignment block at the bottom, all stuck. It's odd, because when I mouse over powers, they highlight, like I should be able to do something to them, but nothing I've tried does anything. The only thing I can do in the holding pen area is delete a monster from the list.
