Feb 25, 2010 20:51:09 Could someone please tell me which issues of Dungeon have all the parts to this adventure and backdrop articles and the "Worm Food" articles from Dragon magazines. I read about this adventure borrowing Dungeon number 131 from a friend and want to run it with the PC's I'm dealing it seems like a fun thing to do right now. All help is greatly appreciated.

Feb 25, 2010 22:11:27 Age of Worms predates 4th Edition and the digital magazines; you might have better luck on Paizo's forums, since they published Dragon and Dungeon before they went online.

Feb 26, 2010 4:18:38 I converted the Champions Belt to 4e (we'd played the other adventures as 3e characters). I was a good way to playtest the 4e conversions of the 3e characters as well as a no-frills chance to practice combat. However, I interspersed it with non-combat skill challenges as an additional part of the competition (there were a series of articles in Paizo's dungeon mags dealing with riddles). It worked quite well overall although I'd probably do a better job of making the monsters more interesting now.

Good AP, would need some modifications in each adventure to fit the 4E model of encounters (mainly Champion's Belt and Library of Last Resort since both adventure cathers to the 5 minutes work day a lot), but the story is very solid. 4E would make some encounters and adventures better in my mind: Three Faces of Evil, Encounter at Blackwall Keep, The Prince of Redhand (MADE for Skill challenges) and Kings of the Rift.

My players had a blast with the Age of Worms when we played it in 3.5 and I encourage you to play it...it's too good to not try to make it work.

May 03, 2010 12:06:04 I have everything if you need it, not the worm food, I was buying the DM mag's when wizard made paizo stop selling pdf's so I didn't have the money to get all the worm foods. email me and I will get you what I got.
