All-white window - Silverlight options on right-click

Nov 16, 2010 12:24:25 I have tried to open the new character builder on an IE6 installation, and a Firefox 3.6.12 install, and in with each of these options, I get a new window to pop up, I see things loading in the status bar, and eventually the status bar notes "Done". The problem is that my window is blank - totally white. When I right-click on the screen, it brings up the Silverlight options menu, so I know something is loaded. I can get Netflix to work with both browsers, so what is going wrong with the Character Builder?

Nov 16, 2010 20:30:56 I had that exact same problem. It looks like when I installed silverlight 4 that it didn't really install. I re-installed it and it's working for me now. I hope that helps.

Nov 17, 2010 8:30:31 Yup, same issue here. Getting it in both FireFox 3.6.3 and IE8.0.6001, both using Silverlight 4.0.5 and with a known history of other Silverlight products working just fine (ie- Netflix).

I'm having the same problem. I uninstalled Silverlight and reinstalled and yet I still have the same problem. Arrrrgh.

Everything was working fine with this site until today. Now both the character builder and adventure tools show a white page with a message saying that I need to have silverlight. As the above poster stated, I have uninstalled and reinstalled silverlight and I still have the same error. Is there a solution to this problem?
