| #1excalainenAug 31, 2010 19:18:08 | I have detected the following bugs in Monster Builder, which make using it really annoying. I have to fix these all manually every time I edit a monster. |
| #2frothsofSep 02, 2010 6:33:00 | yeah ive been posting about this as well, hopefully it is in the update? |
| #3asmodeusloreSep 02, 2010 8:00:31 | Sorry for the delayed response. I've just sent this thread up the line to make sure it gets some attention. If I hear any news, I'll post here and let you know. Have you reported these bugs through the official channels? |
| #4frothsofSep 02, 2010 9:25:14 | is it not the right place to put in the pinned bug reporting thread? |
| #5MockSep 02, 2010 10:18:00 | is it not the right place to put in the pinned bug reporting thread? No, actually. There are links to report bugs (IIRC) in the monster builder itself. There's a link the CB, I know, I'm just not familiar enough to remember where on the MB the "report bug" link is, if it has one. The developers and staff here have consistently asked that bugs in the software be reported via the channels AsmodeusLore linked to. I don't remember why there's a bug reporting thread, except perhaps to make a list of bugs already reported so you can find out if you need to do it. Edit: yeah, it's the latter reason - WotC_Trevor in the bug report sticky says that it's a compilation of what's been discussed, but that people should use the bug submission form to report bugs they find. |
| #6ayarSep 03, 2010 12:19:03 | I've reported this through the "official channels", but another bug: - I create a new monster, save it, close the Monster Builder, open it again, access the new monster to edit it and it's HPs and damage expressions (perhaps other value also) have been modified. For example, the Hit Points might now read: 2,40595 E15 or some other weird, off-the-scale value; while its power damage might now read 5d8+5 when it was initially 2d8+5. |
