There is no word yet on when the full suite of tools will be out. Unfortunately we cannot even get WotC to put up a notice on their front Door so to speak about the problems they are having. Sorry for your troubles Mate. Cheers! |

You may get dozens of hours of enjoyment out of reading. They also have pretty pictures and can double as art books. Many folks just like reading. 2. You can play the table top game. You can make modules, play encounters, and have fun with your friends. You can also play RPGA events, conventions, at your local comic shop, etc. (sarcasim on) Appearently, the rules allow you to play D&D without buying using a computer? Not sure how they do this, but dice, pens, paper, and pizza seem to have something to do with it? (sarcasim off) 3. You can try out the system before comitting to play the game online. If you are only interested in trying out the online tools... then you can certainly wait for them. You likely don't even need to purchase the 4e books to join D&DI if you really don't wish to spend the money. You might also consider buying just the PHB, borrowing a friends, or playing at an RPGA events or local game days, where folks will give you pregens and explain the rules for you if you don't have a book. |
