Can anyone relay any experience with the paragon tier adventures? Which are the ones to avoid, which are the best and so on. Here are some of the ones I've been looking at: The Haunting of Kincep Mansion (156) Depths of Avarice (157) Sea Reavers of the Shrouded Crags (158) Depths of Madness (162) Brink of Madness (163) Worse Than Death (164) The list is missing the Scales of War adventures. Will those adventures make sense if I haven't been following them? I'm also considering playing low epic, if any of those adventures are particularly good. |

Several fights are interesting and can be pretty decent, but the place is just too darn big as written. If you chopped out several minor fights and just left in the keystones (maybe scaling to assume players didn't level up or something) it may be a better time. Also, as a continuation there are parts based on earlier chapters which make no sense to players starting with Brink, so you can chop those too. I daresay you'd have to rewrite the whole hook because there is little plot unless you were following the whole adventure series (just the typical go there, kill things, come back). May want to tweak the end fight too, it seems overly brutal. |
