Any way to print multiple monsters on one sheet of paper?

If you are DM'ing a face to face game and trying to use the "new" online builder, no. Go to the tools page, click the link to go to the Adventure Tools page and find the link labeled "Download adventure tools classic". There are several export options including RTF, XML (.monster for use with other software), and plain text.

If you are DM'ing a face to face game and trying to use the "new" online builder, no. Go to the tools page, click the link to go to the Adventure Tools page and find the link labeled "Download adventure tools classic". There are several export options including RTF, XML (.monster for use with other software), and plain text.

I downloaded the classic tools and got it all setup. However, there is no way to export the monsters. The Import button is clickable and will let me import a .monster file, but the export button is grayed out and unclickable. Any ideas?

1. Make sure you have the latest update.
2. Right click in the list of monsters and one of the options will be export to -> and the pop-out menu will have the options.

Edit: I'm not at home to check this, but I've never used a non-custom monster so it is possible that such a limitation is in place. I find it highly improbable, however. Even if it is that just makes one extra step. Click the "Edit copy" or "Make copy" or whatever it is and save. Then export the copy.

**WARNING**
For creatures beyond say level 5. Make sure the source is MM3 or update the creature to the MM3 errata math for defenses, damage, etc. You can find a good cheat sheet at slyflourish.com (masterdmchart?) link on the right side.

Personally I like to use the Copy to RTF function (right-click on the monster) and set the page layout in Word to two-column. Paste in, reduce the font to size 8, adjust the width of the table (drag right-hand margin a bit toward the left), and make any other minor adjustments. It is fast once you get the hang of it and you can usually get 4 or so monsters on one page. If you aren't changing the monsters then the online builder is faster. Pull up the monster, click your Print Screen key on your keyboard, paste into Word, use the crop image tool, repeat.
