Any way to remove item type requirements from enchantments?

Mar 27, 2010 23:59:13		Is there any way to override the limitations on various enchantments as to what types of items they can appear on?

For example, I'd like to create a piece of plate armor with the Time Link enchantment on it. I would have figured turning on "Show Illegal Elements" would have enabled me to do this, but that option seems to have no noticable effect on the magic item selection menu.

I also tried 'customizing' a piece of (legal) Magic Armor plate and then adding the desired power text into the Notes section in the customization window, but I can't find any way to make the notes appear on the item's power card.
