| #1dg_sliderAug 07, 2009 3:08:23 | Hi all, I'm gearing up to run the first Eberron module and I was tweaking my campaign settings for the group and to my surprise, Eberron Campaign setting and Seekers of the Ashen Crown were not there. I built a character and Divine Power options are there but not any of the gear from the new module. Is anyone seeing these things or am I in error somehow? |
| #2dalzigAug 07, 2009 10:30:52 | There have been reports of people missing new items from the adventures added this last month. I'm not sure if this is because they're actually missing, or bad updates. As for the EB Campaign Guide, I don't think there are actually any player options in it. Well, there are mounts... I guess someone might have missed those. You could always try to repair your update and see if that changes anything. Click "Having Problems?" on the top-right of the update window. |

| #4loydbAug 08, 2009 7:50:06 | Divine Power is missing for me as well ![]() |
| #5dalzigAug 08, 2009 14:39:33 | If you're sure you're missing Divine Power stuff, contact Customer Service. If they can't help you, they can at least get in contact with people who might be able to figure out what's going on. |
| #6castarr4Aug 08, 2009 15:40:11 | I am also missing the Divine Power information in my CB. I haven't checked for the rest of the stuff. I think it's because I JUST updated today. I think the patcher didn't do the previous patch which put Divine Power in, just the quick fix patch that fixed some bugs, since it's the most recent one. I'm going to try reinstalling completely to see if that helps. Edit: Update: Reinstalling the Character Builder completely fixed my problem. It took over an hour to get it all reinstalled and updated, but it works just fine now. |
| #7loydbAug 08, 2009 18:58:59 | Hopefully they'll fix that soon, I'd like to be able to update the group cleric. |
| #8dalzigAug 08, 2009 19:31:25 | Just so everyone can see...Edit: To fix this problem, reinstall your Character Builder. |
| #9lancemoodyAug 08, 2009 22:44:15 | And if that doesn't work, reinstall Windows and then reinstall the CB. We live in a Windows world because people are willing to accept such idiocy. Lance |
| #10jarecAug 10, 2009 2:52:52 | The first August update corrupted my install of Character Builder so I had to do a complete reinstall and I still am not getting the Divine Power, ECG or Ashen Crown content. Annoying as I'm currently running Ashen Crown. Anyone know if there is a way to download updates directly rather than via the auto updater? |
| #11jarecAug 10, 2009 10:26:14 | FYI, just uninstalled the character builder, checked that all directories have been deleted and then reinstalled. The updater ran as expected but once updated still no August content, so unless there is some other undocumented mystical step that has to be performed reinstalling the character builder definitely doesn't get you the missing August content. All I seem to be doing is burning into my update allowance. |

| #13hrafnkelAug 10, 2009 13:12:30 | I just tried uninstalling and completely reinstalling the CB, then updating it. There's STILL no August update material in it--no Divine Power stuff, to be exact. Please FIX THIS. |
| #14dg_sliderAug 11, 2009 8:08:41 | Same here.... Removed everything and reinstalled the CB, no august material at all. I love this application, but don't see why each month it has been a headache to get a patch. What's so hard about patching new database entries anyway? Wizards, please resolve this patching problem. It is getting tiresome constantly removing, reinstalling, reupdating, and requesting more downloads. Let's get this problem fixed already. |
