Anyone else getting "internal server error" when they try to subscribe?

Seems like there are a lot of technical problems with DDI.  Trying to buy a one year subscription, but I keep getting the "internal server error" message when it comes time to log in to complete my order (never mind that I'm already logged in).   Does Wizards simply not want any new subscribers?  Very frustrating to say the least.

I will poke WotC about this. The subscription process goes through a different company (Digital River). I have poked people at WotC to get them to try and fix it ASAP.

In another thread, the post here, a poster has found a workaround that has worked for some people.

This is becoming a bad, frustrating joke.  Now I have my account, but when I attempt to actually subscribe, I get "we are unable to verify your information. please try again."  And of course, no contact phone, no phone ordering and no live support.  It's hard to believe this is actually happening in this day and age - this is the worst online service I've seen in more than a decade!  Hey Wizards - I actually wanted to subscribe - give you my 75 bucks for a full year.  What a joke.
