| #1MedrievJun 01, 2011 15:32:06 | Just glanced over the contents pages for this month and am thoroughly impressed. Thought it was just Dragon due to it being Issue 400 and all but Dungeon seems to have a lot more content planned for this month as well. Here's hoping this is the beginning of a trend and not a one off |
| #2MarandahirJun 01, 2011 16:02:50 | Yeah, while the historical articles are special for Dragon #400, the tons of other content seems to be just because things are rockin' on WotC's side now. |
| #3drnickJun 01, 2011 16:26:16 | Yup. |
| #4lokiareJun 01, 2011 22:58:17 | So the magazines are back on track? at 240 pages? or just the 100 they demoted them to? |
| #5nightwalker450Jun 02, 2011 9:49:42 | I'm normally an optimist for them... But it might be easier to be on track if they are just planning on reprinting articles from 28 years ago all month (ie Jester article). So if that's the plan for anniversary month, then we'll see what next month brings to see if we're on track yet (if nothing else, then they can spend this month getting ahead while reprinting nostalgia and I'll still be happy, see optimist :D). |
| #6MedrievJun 02, 2011 12:03:48 | So the magazines are back on track? at 240 pages? or just the 100 they demoted them to? Can't judge page count until we see articles but the number of articles certainly seems to have gone up this month. And whilst I agree with Nightwalker on reprints of old articles in Dragon, which I am not really interested in, Dungeon seems to be all new content. Neither come close to the Paizo glory days or even the early 4E days but I'm willing to call it progress for now (until the end of June at least ). Also quite glad that there is something positive (of sorts) to post about at last. |
| #7JhariiJun 02, 2011 16:04:05 | So the magazines are back on track? at 240 pages? or just the 100 they demoted them to? The first article in Dragon was a reprint of the old Jester submission from Dragon 300 (or something), so nothing new at all. Just filler. 0 for 1. |
| #8drnickJun 02, 2011 16:15:15 | I realize I'm in the minority here on these boards but I really liked the jester reprint. I started playing in 4e and I'm not going to track down an old magazine. Sure the mechanics aren't entirely relevant but I don't read the articles just for mechanics. It's actually inspired an NPC in my current campaign so I really can't complain. |
| #9Plaguescarred1Jun 02, 2011 21:50:43 | Yes I am thrilled. Lots of coolness in June. More Themes, Essential MC & Hybrids Options, Old Monsters getting MM3'ed, Battle Cleric finally gets some love etc... |
| #10OsgoodJun 03, 2011 13:25:29 | I was particulalry pleased to see Eberron join the "Eye On" series. I have lamented the lack of support for my favorite setting. |
