No one in the general forum seems to know.

I've found a lot of useful links here to sites that give sounds for rpg purposes. It would be cool to use these with a VTT such as Fantasygrounds or maptool.

I can't seem to find a way to "inject" the mp3 into the skype session I'm sending. Anyone got any ideas or suggestions?

I don't know if this is even possible using Skype, but I seem to recall reading about being able to do this in Ventrilo and/or Teamspeak.

Of course, you could always use a virtual tabletop program that supports sound effects and music right in the program, like Battlegrounds.

A year or so ago I used Pamela Recorder to shock my allies in Starcraft by playing a "nuclear launch detected" sound. It supports MP3 and WAV afaik.

Fantastic. This is IT, basically exactly what I needed. If I could give you positive Karma I would!
