Anyone know if I will be able to do this with the DDi tools?

What I want to do is take a close up pic of the character I make in the D&D Character Visualizer and put that pic as portrait on the character sheet of the same character I make with the D&D Character Builder.

Anyone know yet if we will be able to do that?

One of WotC's many Mouths has stated that you will be able to generate a portrait with the Character Visualizer.

Absolutely, KM. That's a cross-functionality they've been talking about for many a moon.

But will you be able to make the portrait look like your vmini?

I think the portrait from visualizer will be able to be saved or printed out.

So if you are wanting to put it on a real world character sheet, with a little bit of image editing you could do it is you have a character sheet you can edit as an image or otherwise add an image to a PDf version.

As to the Game Table itself, no one knows what the "sheet" will look like, but odds are your v-mini created by the Visualizer will be your character portrait.

Yes, this will be possible.
