| #2dalzigAug 11, 2009 0:29:44 | Not natively. There have been reports of people successfully running it through a Windows emulation using a program such as VM Fusion or VirtualBox. Or you could Boot-Camp a Mac so it would dualboot Windows and OSX. So, at some point, you will have to have Windows installed to run the Character and Monster Builders. The Compendium and web-tools, along with the D&Di Articles are completely platform independent. |
| #3RCanineAug 11, 2009 1:32:41 | I use D&DI on a Mac via Parallels. The character builder is not too bad, although it can be frustratingly slow. The compendium works really well with SSBs like Fluid.app. All-in-all it's not bad. |

| #5darkjedi26Aug 11, 2009 19:54:04 | Installing Windows on a mac with Parallels and VM Fusion is pretty easy. I use it to run the CB and it works fine (albeit slow sometimes) |
| #6DanBackslideAug 14, 2009 0:37:22 | CB and the Monster Builder work fine for me using VMware Fusion. Monster Builder's a little slow, but it's still beta (and I only give 512MB to the VM). The Compendium works fine in Safari. To print I have CutePDF installed in the VM. I save the PDFs off to the Mac side using VMware's Shared Folders feature, then print on the Mac side. I also save the CB files off, for easy uploading to iplay4e. |
