Just curious as it is the 8th Sept and no sign of the new Dungeon magazine. I wonder if this is the month we have to start paying.

Not a problem as I will sign up when they start asking for money /i just wonder if the delay is whilst they get the payment system up and running?

Sorry to say that they haven't improved enough for me to purchase them at least on a subscription level yet.

Inconsistent Delivery dates. Missing Articles as advertised.

If I could preview the articles and the artwork before purchasing like I use to do with the print versions I would pick up some issues. I might even go back and buy older once in awhile.

Electronic Versions don't have much of a collection Value.

That's not really an issue for me. I have really liked the content so far (yes it could be better edited). As to the price it is only $10 which is about £6 in the uk. It used to cost me more than that just for a copy of Dragon.

I think we will see the character creater soon and then the pay time will start I just wonder if that is the reason for the delay.

The first two adventures are free the rest you have to pay for.

Evil tactics... ;)

Well, the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide comes out tomorrow, and I've still yet to see any real dungeon content for FR (past the H1 and H2 conversions, which I've already played outside FR...).

I was hoping to see some indication if this setting was going to be supported before spending money on the player's guide. I was REALLY hoping to know if the FR hardcover adventure is just some kind of dead-end or if they're going to continue the story with more adventures in Dungeon.

Oh well.

I believe the FR adventure that is released next month is the follow on to that adventure.

It starts at second level and I am sure I read somewhere that it follows the story in the campaign guide.

scepter tower of spellguard or whatever? That's this month, and I'm wondering if dungeon will continue wherever *it* leaves off.

though it stands to reason that such an adventure wouldn't be in this month's dungeon anyway.

It is the 10th now (i.e. 1/3 of the month is over) and even a Table of Content is not available.

Clear signs for me, that the focus is lying elsewhere.

I'm out.

It's not that there's no content, it's that for some reason they are focused on putting nothing but dragon articles up for the first third of the month. The table of contents won't come until the first dungeon article for this month. I'm going to assume that they aren't stalling because they don't have a single adventure ready to post, so I figure they either a) think everyone wants the dragon articles first or b) don't have the table of contents ready yet. Maybe the cover art hasn't come in yet?

If the contents comes out on the 20th with like 3 articles listed, then I'm with you though.

If they want to keep people interested they need to post the Table of Contents for the following month up in advance.

Especially if they want to get people to renew subscriptions when they start charging. If my subscription is ending a table of content for the following month could possibly entice me to renew.

I went into Hastings yesterday and guess what i saw in print on the shelf

Kobold Quarterly

I can't tell you how great it felt to actually hold and flip through the Magazine.
Articles Ok
Artwork OK
MAP ...Fantastic
Comics..Great
ADS...ok Even I had a good time looking them.

I know that most will complain that its 3?E
but Hey some of us stayed with 3?E...Yall get Dungeon E-zine and Dragon E-zine. Eventually..maybe

Direct from the Horse's Mouth

"The table of contents goes up at the beginning of the month and then new articles are posted every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a “full issue” compilation going up at the end of the month."

How if only they will define
First of the Month
End of Month

Well June ended July 4th and IIRC the compiled was not released on that day.

So clearly what your saying is that WOTC has no Idea yet what either the first of the month or end of the month means yet.

Its 10th of September and we have no Dungeon Articles as of yet.
I wonder if they pay their bills on the same schedule
