| #2IchariusSep 15, 2010 11:30:30 | the New art looks awesome, most of the time my imagination boils faster by just looking at the arts, than reading storylines, and this heroes makes me want to build a character or 2. then again, is there any reason why you have to repeat the art from the PHB1? in a little sort of a rant: I've played magic and D&D for about 10 years, and it always makes me wonder why WotC keep recycling the arts over and over again. It's bad for the artist, because he could be charging for a new art where the company used an old one even if he is payed for the rights. and it's bad for the costumer because when you buy a new book of 100+ pages, you don't expect to find 10 more or less pages of old art, even if it's great art./end lil' rant. eitherway, great job!! looking forward to it!! |

| #5MockSep 15, 2010 15:29:54 | Many pieces are new art to me (having come into D&D at the advent of 4th Edition). I wish they'd included the captions, though. That was a neat element of Heroes of the Fallen Lands - all the pictures are captioned. Nothing profound, but it was just kinda neat. Also, idly wondering if 4E is getting "Iconics" for the Essentials line now - all the class illustrations have names - Dendric, Lyriel, Shara, Fallgrim, etc. |
