I'd hate to think the choices would be mutually exclusive, but it would depend on what the new tool was, and how well it was implemented.

I'd pass up everything for a well-implemented gamer's tabletop, hands down.  In fact, it would pretty much guarantee me buying a 1 year sub.

I'm more curious about what's next than I am worried about the bugs in the Monster Builder. I barely use it anyway, but even so, I expect the bugs will be fixed in late September. They certainly know about them.

But actually, I'd be more interested in them dropping something new to mess with.

Likewise, it would depend on what the new tool is.  I would really like to see the Monster Build get "finished," but "new tool" has a whole lot of possibilities.

A new toy in the tools would interst me far more than any sort of MB *fix*. I use iplay4e/inCombat when running encounters so monster stat blocks more often than not come from the compendium and I only use the MB to change monster levels etc. Given a choice of what tool I would like to see next my vote would go with a maping tool that allows me to design and print.

As a paying subscriber, we should not have to choose.

As a driver would you prefer your car to have air bags, or the brakes work?  I know we promised you air bags, even advertised them, but were busy still trying to figure out what really makes a brake system function properly and therefore we've canceled the airbags...

Actually No. Once I have a monster set, I generally don't have go back and edit the monster.

At our game last night the DM found a level 7 minion with an AC 35!?! were only level 5, even my rogue would have needed a natural 20 to hit the dam things, and the spectre had a move of 0.  So i'd say a monster builder that works.

This is why Magic Missile was updated

New tool.  I need an encounter builder integrated with an adventure builder, and a campaign tracker would be nice.

There are 4059 creatures in the Monster Builder.  While I think they should fix this feature as they have time to work on bug fixes I don't see a burning need for it.
