| #1peteyrockNov 12, 2008 14:59:19 | Okay, I truly hope I'm not wrong in my rules interpretation as I post this. I created a Rogue with 14 Str and 18 Dex. When I equipped him with a short sword, it read Attack: +5 and Damage: 1d6+2. If I'm not mistaken, as a light blade, the short sword can use Dex for its attack bonus. Perhaps it could be programmed to grab whichever stat is higher for light blades and the like? Also, I'm assuming that the Str bonus to damage will still apply in such a case, though that's what I'm unsure about. |
| #2elwyndasNov 12, 2008 15:03:13 | you add STR to melee basic attacks, and DEX to ranged attacks. You can't stack those. you add DEX to most rogue class attack powers though (if you use a light blade), and it seem they are added correctly. So no bug here. |
