| #1AmarilFeb 20, 2008 22:27:20 | Paizo still sells Dragon and Dungeon Magazines published during their licensing term in PDF format as permitted by WotC. Unfortunately, they are only offering up to Dragon #345 and Dungeon #139 in PDF format. There are a significant number of fans of the magazine that would like to collect the final print issues in PDF format for various reasons (e.g. - compiling Campaign Workbook articles, Eberron articles, culling statblocks, organizing Class Acts material, etc.). Paizo has stated that their reason for not offering those in between PDFs had something to do with complexities in licensing or something to that effect. Can someone at WotC please clarify the situation and begin a process permitting Paizo to sell Dungeon Magazine Issues #140-150 and Dragon Magazine Issues #346-359 as PDFs? |

| #4dicemaulerApr 18, 2008 9:31:20 | there are a lot of back issues of dragon and dungeon that i would love to get ahold of, PDF or not. it would be great if they could sell PDFs of all the older magazines, i never could understand why they never did that. have you tried sending anything to wotc customer service? maybe what's needed is a number of people to make those inquiries before someone thinks that would be a great idea... heck i don't think i would mind paying for them from the wizards website, they'll be set up to take money in a couple months anyways. i know the compilation cd's were rather popular as i always saw their spot on game shelves being empty, i was just unhappy that they never had one for dungeon. meh, maybe i'll fire off an e-mail to customer service when i get home from work, i'm guessing it can't hurt, though it might not help in this case either. |

I forget whether it has the first 220 or the first 250 issues of dragon, but it is an excellent resource to have. If a similar Dungeon Archive was marketed, I'd preorder today regardless of price. |

| #9drawdyJun 18, 2008 19:33:20 | Why hasn't a WOTC rep answered this yet? I still need Paizo to put PDF supplements together for the last three issues so I can finish my STAP campaign. Apparently there's some hold up regarding WOTC. |
| #10AmarilNov 11, 2008 12:37:11 | Seriously, WotC, what does it take for this to happen? |
| #11celloshaneNov 11, 2008 16:29:44 | It would be great if it could ever happen. I didn't start reading Dungeon until rather late it in it's run, and I would love to have access to the issues that I've missed. |
| #12Shemeska_the_MarauderNov 12, 2008 18:07:32 | As I understand it, Paizo can only sell pdf copies for those magazines that no longer have print backstock to sell first. However I might also be utterly wrong on that point, so don't take my word as gospel. ![]() Still, it would be nice if WotC let them sell the pdfs given the demand for them. It would have also been nice if WotC had let them print a compiled Age of Worms AP book, but that's a pipe dream at this point. |

However I might also be utterly wrong on that point, so don't take my word as gospel. No they corrected and clarified that. You can find some issues available in both print and PDF format. I wish they had those options during their subscription runs. I would have subscribed to the PDFs instead. I got some clarification from Lisa Stevens at Paizo. With regards to badgering Wizards, I have been, but it's no use badgering Wizards to extend a limited license to Paizo if producing those PDFs is not in Paizo's interest. |

| #15AmarilNov 12, 2008 18:49:17 | Color me even more jaded about WotC now. Damn. Well, we don't know if that's a presumption on her behalf or if that was told to her specifically with respect to the PDFs in question. |
| #16KentinalNov 12, 2008 22:25:04 | Well, we don't know if that's a presumption on her behalf or if that was told to her specifically with respect to the PDFs in question. Well we do know that WotC has not complied most of the 3.5 ezines, before transition to 4th. The last word we had on that officially was that they would be compiled soon. "Soon" for those editions appears to be a very long time now. |
