| #1CoarseDragonJul 23, 2009 15:29:37 | Is it to early for the August Dungeon/Dragon contents or can I just not find it? |
| #2dalzigJul 23, 2009 16:34:14 | Editorial Calendar - Updated for August! Dragon 378 Table of Contents - Not active yet Dungeon 169 Table of Contents - Not active yet You're just a bit early apparently. ;) |
| #3EmiJul 24, 2009 6:49:25 | On monday very probably. |
| #4rechanJul 28, 2009 0:11:05 | Where is it? Grr. |
| #5EmiJul 28, 2009 3:50:16 | Yeah, eagerly waiting for it as well... |
| #6PhaezenJul 28, 2009 5:22:46 | Not expecting to see too much on the calendar before Gencon myself, as I am fairly sure they will be using the secondhalf of Augusts DDI releases to pimp ang Gencon announcements... |
| #7WolfStar76Jul 28, 2009 10:06:35 | If mudbunny doesn't beat me to it, I'll poke Trevor about this this afternoon. |
| #8rechanJul 30, 2009 10:52:30 | This is getting a bit absurd now. |
| #9WolfStar76Jul 30, 2009 12:54:26 | I've just officially poked Trevor on the subject (Sorry, I'm on vacation for a wedding, so I didn't get a chance to do this sooner. Poor Trevor just had the misfortune of IMing me as I was reading this thread. ) |
| #10WotC_TrevorJul 30, 2009 15:51:22 | The ETA I've heard is that the calendar will go up this week, so I'm expecting to see it today or tomorrow. I'll let you know if I hear anything new. |
| #11christopher_roweJul 30, 2009 16:22:39 | It seems to be up now. |
| #12dalzigJul 30, 2009 16:47:04 | http://wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4dnd/calendar DMG2 Excepts! Hooray! Scales of War advice! Hooray! The free content looks like it might be more enjoyable for me than everything else... Heh. |
| #13sigil_beguilerJul 30, 2009 16:51:02 | Stuff that sticks out for me:
There is also Divine stuff like Bahamut and Domains for FR and Eberron. But for me, ehh, Divine. I am most curious about the Fighter: Essentials and Campaign Workshop. |
| #14celticmuttJul 30, 2009 18:35:46 | Color me sad. Still no Ecology articles for Changelings or Kalashtar, or Playing Goblinoids, to support Eberron. And mildly confused - why is there a Playing Githzerai article, a week or two later, when we're getting the Gith in the CB update, plus an article then, like the Psion? |
| #15dalzigJul 30, 2009 21:53:13 | I'm guessing Playing Githzerai will contain new character options for Githzerai, much like Dragonborn received. |
| #16asmodeusloreJul 31, 2009 17:57:18 | I doubt we'll see much on goblinoids. I hear they are going to be in the PHB3. Purely rumor at this point though. |
| #17ArtifactJul 31, 2009 19:33:51 | Looks like this is gonna be a very enjoyable month for me. I'm not the biggest fan of the monk or psionics but githzerai are a bit more intriguing. A preview plus the Playing Githzerai article can only mean one thing, fun. Before warlords, paladins were one of my favorite classes, so the Bahamut article should also be fun and hopefully just as useful as the Bane one. I've gotten a lot of use out of the Bane article, one of my favs so far. My PC is an unaligned worshipper of Bane and takes the Soldier of Conquest as his paragon path. I've always enjoyed the Domains of Dread articles; looking forward to this next entry. Looking for the next Sunderheart. I didn't take the time to mention it, but the Explore Airspur article last month was excellent, stirred my imagination; looking forward to more of the same. === == === === I'm a new Eberron player, so I second the suggestion of a changeling or kalashtar ecology article ;). |
| #18sigil_beguilerJul 31, 2009 21:00:11 | The Dragon ToC is up: http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/drtoc/378 It seems like this month is introducing new series of articles that is neat. Both Essentials and Channel Divinity. It is interesting with Essentials it states, "This first article in an ongoing series for all classes introduces some character creation and tactical basics for character classes." That to me sounds like going beyond just Feats and Powers. |
| #19ranadielAug 01, 2009 5:43:51 | Looks to me like both of those series are preparation for the seperation of DM and player content. Overall I'd say that this looks like a good month. |
