#2 Marandahir Nov 01, 2011 8:35:44	I hope they don't make her just a destructive gobbling witch queen of the forest, but also include her elements from fairy-tale as a trickster-mentor of the malevolent kind (she can teach you quite a bit, and be a very helpful mentor, but if you fail in the tasks she assigns you, she'll eat you).  She was never a one-dimensional pure-villain, but appears in various roles from stern but teaching grandmother to monstrous devourer.  I doubt they'll draw on Babuskha Baba-Yaga, where she's misinterpreted as a monster and is actually a kind but ugly old woman who is outcast from society, but that's another interesting take on the tale.  But in the original fairy-tales, yes, she had a range of different roles.
