| #1HeathGAug 04, 2009 15:17:16 | When ever I try to add or edit backgrounds since updating with this month's updates, I get the following error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. The error occurs when the background type (i.e. General, Eberron, etc.) is selected, then the Select XXX button is clicked. The program then crashes out completely. |
| #2jhnthnAug 04, 2009 15:25:36 | i am also experiencing this bug. |
| #3ShadowsmithAug 04, 2009 15:48:43 | Same here. |
| #4dalzigAug 04, 2009 15:50:19 | Workaround: Double-click the background instead of clicking the "Choose Background" button. |
| #5Lone_Wolf_02Aug 04, 2009 15:53:51 | I'm also running into this problem, both on my desktop and my laptop. |
| #6andrewjaAug 04, 2009 16:35:33 | The work around stops the crash but I don't think the back ground is then being applied to the character. |
| #7sirvimesAug 04, 2009 16:40:53 | The work around stops the crash but I don't think the back ground is then being applied to the character. Once you select a background, you have to pick the particular background benefit at the top of the backgrounds section. |
| #8OreAug 04, 2009 17:15:15 | Yes, if you select it at the top then the background benefit will be applied. |
| #9The_ArchitectAug 04, 2009 19:21:33 | A hot fix is now live that solves the background choose button crash. Key count usage is reset with the update so you will not lose any key usages. |
