After Building a halfling Barbarian the character sheets powers that require two hands does not show the characters plus to hit or damage with the versatile weapon. Also true for gnome and assuming true for other small creatures.

To test with a medium size creature using a versatile weapon two handed, they do have the to hit value and damage on the card with these same powers.

Rules-wise, these powers require you to use a two-handed weapon, not to use a weapon two-handed. So yeah, halfling barbarians get the short end of the stick.

Nothing a little house-rule can't fix. But I don't know what to do about it in the CB. :/

The Problem is that you can use these powers with a versatile weapon, ie a one handed weapon two handed, with a medium size character but get denied for small.

Does it not have it at all, or does it not show the increased damage bonus for two-handed use? IIRC, a small creature wielding a versatile weapon in two hands doesn't get any extra damage from it.

On the other hand, if it doesn't show it at all, but it does for medium size creatures, then one of the two has to be fixed (either to not allow anyone to use a versatile weapon for those; or to allow both sizes to).

Edit: Hm. I just tried it with a dragonborn barbarian, and it doesn't show the to-hit or damage with a versatile weapon in two-hand mode either (I tried a battleaxe, and it apparently doesn't count either). So, a) it's consistent, and b) you can't be a halfling barbarian.

Yes a Versatile Weapon is not a two-handed weapon, its a one-handed weapon that can be wielded with two hands. This means the character builder is correct and that they don't work with the "Requires Two-Handed Weapon" powers.

This means (currently) halfling or gnome Barbarians have a more restricted choice of options.

At the end of the month when the Foe to Foe power is added you will have 2 At-Wills for the Halfling and Gnome Barbarians of the world.

I just built a Dragonborn Barbarian in the character builder and bought a longsword used it in two hands and took Devastating Strike and Howling Strike. it does not show the to hit numbers at all in the Character Builder.

Are you using the demo copy? Because what you said in the OP is not true at all for it showing for Medium sized creatures.
