| #1rechanSep 05, 2008 19:51:58 | What happened to the barbarian on the Dragon ToC? Have they recalled it or something? |
| #2That_Blasted_SomoflangeSep 05, 2008 20:32:08 | probably going to put it in the next issue, when everyone has to pay for it. |
| #3krakenkaosSep 05, 2008 20:53:16 | Grrr! .. and that was one of the only things I was wanting from this new magazine. This is a huge disappointment. |
| #4kave99Sep 05, 2008 22:49:15 | Wow WTF, 359 issues of paper Dragon and i can think of maybe two times when they failed to deliver what was promised in the in the next issue. Now we have this "change of plans" and last months "oops we didn't get it on time" this is not the way to impress us the people that WotC wants to pay for the E-zeen. |
| #5blu_skreemSep 05, 2008 23:05:24 | Lame, I wasn't very interested in the Artificer, but I have two PCs who wanted to platy a barbarian, plus it would have been our first peek at Primal. I hope that the idea wasn't scrapped entirely, I don't mind if I have to wait a month, but I'll be a tad disappointed it's gone forever. |
| #6sirvimesSep 05, 2008 23:50:07 | probably going to put it in the next issue, when everyone has to pay for it. Very disappointed in the decision, and frankly, after it had been announced that it would be in this issue and its all of a sudden pulled without comment in what for all intents and purposes looks like a bait and switch, it tends to **** me off and not make me want to get a subscription and just wait for the compiled issues. |
| #7Drax_HoakSep 06, 2008 0:14:02 | It's still in the teaser description. Hopefully its sudden omission from the table of contents is an error that will be rectified. |
| #8KentinalSep 06, 2008 0:21:14 | Well it clearly could/might be editor error. Something to hope for at least, for those that want the class. |
| #9lord_tirianSep 06, 2008 4:51:39 | It's still in the teaser description. Hopefully its sudden omission from the table of contents is an error that will be rectified. Everything else would be retarded. Because they have a Barbarian as cover. Cheers, LT. |
| #10GlimmTheGnomeSep 06, 2008 8:41:25 | They also still list Roll vs Role: Trolls in the ToC despite the article being in last month's Dragon, so I doubt it's quite accurate yet... Hopefully they'll still include the barbarian preview. |
| #11Fox_ReeveheartSep 06, 2008 9:03:35 | Very disappointed in the decision, and frankly, after it had been announced that it would be in this issue and its all of a sudden pulled without comment in what for all intents and purposes looks like a bait and switch, it tends to **** me off and not make me want to get a subscription and just wait for the compiled issues. you don't have to be a subscriber to get the compiled issues that basically come at the end of the month or into the beginning of the next month? o.o also I have a thread on this too ~.~ if its true then they should JUST SAY IT instead of leaving it to us to find out for ourselves of what happened. Could be true, might not be and just an error, still on the teaser I suppose. |
| #12sirvimesSep 06, 2008 9:25:45 | you don't have to be a subscriber to get the compiled issues that basically come at the end of the month or into the beginning of the next month? o.o They have said that individual issues can be purchased if I remember correctly. |
| #13cardaSep 08, 2008 15:13:45 | Posting the following open letter to Wizards here because there's more than enough threads on this subject as it is. To whom it may concern: The recent events regarding Dragon magazine have proven to be very disappointing. It would seem that in the transition from print to pixels, the magazine staff has forgotten about things like deadlines and how to avoid making false promises. While I understand the convenience of being able to fix articles before they become "official", this practice has led to some very sloppy mistakes, such as releasing an article that clearly needs more than a once-over for typos (the star pact warlock article comes to mind). Please endeavor to fix these problems as quickly as possible. Sincerely, A concerned potential subscriber |
