And I am fine with this. However, the bard bypasses those restrictions. So, the bard could not normally qualify for the weapon training feats, because a prerequisite is 'any martial class'. However once said bard takes a martial class' class-specific multiclass feat, that bard now "counts as a member of that class for the purpose of meeting prerequisites for taking other feats and qualifying for paragon paths." So if a bard takes Sneak of Shadows as a first level feat, said bard now qualifies for any feat with a prerequisite of 'rogue' as well as a prerequisite of 'any martial class'. However the character builder does not seem to agree, and does not allow weapon training feats for a bard. I have already posted a query to Customer Service, to see if I am mistaken or if the builder is in error; but I thought I would go ahead and post here in the mean time. |

I just want my Bard to be good at the whip like I have him in 3rd edition. That's all I want. It has been terribly cumbersome though. So cumbersome that I just posted it in another thread. http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1147541 But yeah, I gave him Rogue Multiclassing too but after that, it is a nightmare trying to find the other 'house rule' items to make him work and even one ability is showing as Illegal. Frustrating. |

But you know that. If you are having trouble finding a feat use the search function, just type whip and hit enter. Show all feats if you are not seeing the any whip feats. |
