Hi Everyone,

Anyone know why the  Sleep eye on Siolim, Beholder Gauth says "Sleep Ray (Sleep)" while every other Beholder with a Sleep eye says "Sleep Ray (Charm)".

Reason I am asking is the race (Eladrin) of the character I am playing in a campain has a +5 Resist bonus to Charm effects and  according to my DM because this beholder does not say (Charm) after Sleep but instead oddly (Sleep) my bonus does not apply.

I dont get this, who has a resist bonus to "(Sleep)"?

Is this a missprint or am I missing something?.

This Post seem to indicate it is a mistake and has been changed from (Sleep) to (Charm) but on the DND insider it still has (Sleep) instead of (Charm). http://community.wizards.com/content/forum-topic/2778926

Regards,

Adam

Unfortunately, it seems that there are no plans to ever update the 4e tools again.  You never know, something might change, but don't hold your breath.  I still consider the tools very useful though, despite the bugs.  I would guess that with a game with this many elements, they could go on updating things for a long time and still not have everything perfect.  Oh, well.

if the DDi sub continues and one of the selling points is an older edition character builder; they should keep it up to date. This should overlap into anything else we currently pay for, if 4.0 anything is becoming "open" like with 3.5 and pathfinder, fair game. Chase them up anyways, maybe they've got a pile of requests and they are waiting for enough to fall on them before spending time on it.
