Can you recommend any 4e adventures that would be particularly well-suited for play-by-post? Essentially to me this means a greater emphasis on plot, role playing/character development, and skill challenges. Combat will be important of course, but adventures that can shift the focus to these other elements, in my experience, are more fun and move more quickly in a PbP format. For example, I've DMed Keep of the Shadowfell in an in person game and am sure it would get tedious quickly in PbP. Its follow up seemed similar in that regard. Since this will be for the beginning of a new campaign I'm particularly interested in adventures for characters of level 1-4. And I should note, lest folks think of replying with "make the adventure up yourself and you can guarantee plot and roleplaying," that I agree but time is limited. Thanks! |

It starts with a small skill challenge, then contains 3 fights; the middle of which you could drop if you like. Their is also plenty of opportunity to play up investigation and springboard themes and other adventures (particularly plane-hopping). Hope this helps a little. |
