Black Blade of Raam should NOT be a Dragon Article.

Mar 22, 2012 23:38:46 I've been pretty lax and haven't complained about my constant dissapointment in the Dragon/Dugeon articles over the past few years as they continued to decline in quality. Now, with this article which has absolutely nothing to do with the player perspective of Dragon I'm just confused. WTF WoTC? I still pay for this crap...at least label them correctly. The article is about an NPC so stick it in the right mag.

Please, I'm begging you to improve the quaility of the article content for Dragon/Dungeon. I realize you're gearing up for 5e, but we are still paying for 4e content. Give us some love.

We have a collection of articles, they're not compiled anymore, so essentially we just have various articles, that may be to either player or DM interests. Early on in 4e, Dragon was filled with DM content, and Dungeon only had adventures in it. WotC obviously made a conscious decision that they want the "Monthly Eye on Setting" articles to move back to Dragon. I don't know why, but this has nothing to do with the quality of article content. The articles are quality works, where they're placed really doesn't matter.

Actually, it does make a difference. If you're not a subscriber and see an article listed in Dragon for the upcoming month, you used to be able to assume that the article is player-oriented. Even if it doesn't contain player-usable mechanics, it could give roleplaying advice for players or character hooks.

If what Bruize says is true, then this article should have been in Dungeon.

Apr 11, 2012 17:25:56 Is there a way to print the covers to the magazines? Even though they aren't compiling, I'm still printing them out and compiling them myself (since I much prefer reading my "magazines" in paper format than otherwise). So .. any way to print the covers?
