I noticed there were a few other posts where people were having this problem. I finally figured out what was behind mine, maybe this will help someone else out who also uses PC Tools Spyware Doctor. The latest version of SD has a toolbar BHO called Browser Defender. If that toolbar is enabled, it will prevent the CB from loading, at least with Internet Explorer 8 and Windows 7. You must disable it and restart the browser. Just to note, Browser Defender is something different from Browser Guard. Browser Guard is part of the IntelliGuard tools and doesn't cause any problems. Browser Defender is a browser toolbar. |
