My DM allows players to select a bonus feat from a small set as incentive for writing a good backstory. I can't find a way to let the builder let me take the extra feat. Anyone know how?

On the feat page, click the little H on the top-right of the bottom-left window.

And do what? He's trying to take an extra feat. For instance, a human having 3 feats at first level. None of the options on the house icon menu (Show Illegal Elements, Create Custom Element, or Choose for Me) seem to do this.

I don't mean to be rude and apologize if my tone offended, but I feel this was a flippant answer to a serious question. I, for one, cannot find a way to accomplish this task.

Try the h button on the window that shows your selected feats. Up pops a "User Choice " feat for you to fill. To get rid of the extra feat, double click it.

Please read the entire post. "Top-right of the BOTTOM-LEFT window."

Well... now I feel... sheepish. Baaaaaaaah

That works quite nicely. Thanks for your helpful reply.
